FAQ

Personal Injury Law Explained

What does “no win, no fee” mean

ANSWER

In many personal injury matters, legal fees are charged on a contingency basis. This generally means that the lawyer’s fee is paid from the amount recovered for the client rather than through regular hourly billing.

The specific fee arrangement, expenses and circumstances in which fees may become payable should be explained in the retainer agreement before representation begins.
