Seek medical attention when necessary and report the incident to the property owner, occupier or appropriate organization.
If possible, photograph the area where the fall occurred, including the condition that caused the accident, and obtain the names of witnesses. Footwear, clothing and other physical evidence may also be important and should be preserved.
